Clarence W. Sickles Friendship Fund

HISTORY
As many of you know, Heath Village's founder, The Reverend Clarence W. Sickles passed away at the height of the pandemic. He was instrumental in instilling the principles of fellowship and caring that have come to define our community; thus, the Board of Trustees is pleased to announce its decision to honor his legacy by renaming the Friendship Fund, The Reverend Clarence W. Sickles Friendship Fund.
The Friendship Fund was established in 1971 through a joint effort between residents and the Board of Trustees to help residents facing financial hardship. Following Board approval, 100% of every donation is used to supplement the income of residents who have outlived their assets. It was championed by Reverend Sickles who was the Executive Director at the time. The Fund represents genuine care for neighbors and friends.
Heath Village is a registered not-for-profit and is a designated 501c3 organization with the IRS. Donations are tax deductible.

ANNUAL FUNDRAISER
In 2022, after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Heath Village was extremely excited to announce the return of its annual in-person Benefit Gala in support of The Reverend Clarence W. Sickles Friendship Fund. We were thrilled to continue this time honored tradition at Heath Village with hosting our 35th Annual Gala on September 29, 2023.

CHARITABLE GIFT ANNUITY
The Heath Village Friendship Fund Charitable Gift Annuity offers residents and friends another way to support the Clarence W. Sickles Friendship Fund. An individual Charitable Gift Annuity is a simple contract between you and the charity.
